Adoptable Dogs

If you are interested in one of our dogs, please e-mail us at info@dogsforever.org. An application and a home visit are part of the adoption process. We have an all-volunteer staff and most of us have “day jobs” so it usually takes around one week to process an application. To learn more about our adoption application process and requirements, check out the application now!

You can also submit an inquiry using the form below. We will respond to all requests and applications as soon as possible.

NOAH & CASEY NEED YOU!!? Noah and Casey are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. Although they were strays in different counties, they met each other in their current foster home and have been best friends ever since. Due to their large size and zealous, rambunctious nature, it has been difficult to find them a home, so they have been in long-term foster care for a number of years. Potential adopters have inquired about one or the other, but no one has come forward to give them a home together. Are you the special person they have been waiting for? They need a forever home or long-term foster home by December 1. Although their foster parents dearly love this dynamic duo, their lives, health and home situation have changed greatly in recently months, preventing them from continuing to provide care. Noah and Casey are seniors (approximately 10 years old), but ssshhhh! Don’t tell them! They rollick and play together like kids and are always in a good mood; they never have a bad day. They each weigh 70+ lbs. Their needs: • A fenced yard (this is a must, since they are extremely strong dogs and difficult to safely walk on a leash). Must be a physical, 6-ft. fence, not underground. • A home without young children. • Need to be the only pets. Casey is dominant and needs to be the boss, which Noah does not mind. Noah does not get along with male dogs. So the best solution is a home without other dogs. • A safe, generous space where they can hang out when their new family leaves home for work, shopping, etc. Left alone and free to roam, Noah and Casey can be destructive. A reasonable solution would be to have chain link kennels in the basement—or other indoor area—which is used in their foster home. Their new family can purchase these kennels at a reasonable rate from the current foster parents. • Lots of love and one-on-one time. They love people and want and deserve a family of their own. Noah and Casey are neutered/spayed, current on vaccines and have been checked for heartworm and are on preventative. ARE YOU THE ANGEL THESE WONDERFUL DOGS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR?
